About Us

Patrice Thompson is an international educator and consultant who helps schools turn multilingualism into a powerful tool for learning, belonging, and community.

Specializing in translanguaging and language inclusion, she brings over 15 years of experience across international schools in Korea, China, and Morocco. Her work focuses on helping educators move beyond “English-only” approaches and design classrooms where students can use their full linguistic repertoire to think, participate, and succeed.

Patrice has led school-wide initiatives to elevate language and culture, including founding language inclusion committees, designing global citizenship programming, and facilitating large-scale community events. She also delivers professional learning for educators from PreK through IB, bridging research and practice in ways that are both strategic and immediately actionable.

As a speaker of six languages, Patrice brings both lived and professional insight into how language shapes identity, confidence, and learning, and how schools can intentionally design for that shaping for improved academic performance, belonging, and community engagement. 

Caitlin McCarthy is a global operations and strategy specialist who helps schools align their systems, communication, and community engagement with their values around inclusion and internationalism.

With experience spanning operations, marketing, and partnership development, she brings a systems-level perspective to building school communities that are cohesive, authentic, and trusted by diverse families.

Having lived and worked across the U.S., Jordan, India, the Netherlands, China, and Korea, Caitlin brings a deeply personal understanding of multicultural environments and the expectations of globally mobile communities.

Her work includes leading cross-cultural initiatives, coordinating international partnerships, and supporting schools in translating their vision into clear, compelling messaging. She focuses on operationalizing school initiatives, building the structures, workflows, and team alignment needed to move from vision to consistent, sustainable practice. At Conex-Us, she ensures that language and cultural inclusion are reflected not only in classrooms, but across the entire school experience.
